BAbu's camp
intimate, nostalgic, timeless
About us
Babu’s Camp is an intimate, tented camp in Mkomazi (one of Tanzania’s newest national parks) and a perfect destination for those seeking peace and solitude while enjoying Africa’s beauty. With views of Kilimanjaro, Mkomazi not only provides a home to endangered Black Rhinos and African Wild Dogs but also allows visitors the chance to finally get out of their vehicles and explore.
Sometimes referred to as the last frontier of northern Tanzania, Mkomazi has a wide variety of flora and fauna with 78 species of mammals including elephant, kudu, hartebeest, giraffe, and aardwolf. There are also approximately 450 recorded species of birds in Mkomazi, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise.
